Beef Empanadas

We were delighted to have been invited by the Argentine Embassy in London to join their virtual 25 de Mayo celebrations and contribute with what we do best: cook.

So, here is the video we prepared for them showing how to make traditional Argentine beef empanadas:

Ingredients:

Here’s what you’ll need to make 2 dozen empanadas:⠀

1 kg of CASA ARGENTINA minced beef⠀
1 kg of white onions, chopped⠀
1 ó red bell peppers, chopped⠀
3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped⠀
3 spring onions, chopped⠀
½ tbsp of salt⠀
½ tbsp of grounded black pepper⠀
1 tsp of cumin⠀
1 tsp of CASA ARGENTINA oregano⠀
1½ tsp of CASA ARGENTINA ají molido (crushed red peppers)⠀
1½ tsp of CASA ARGENTINA pimentón dulce (sweet paprika)⠀
2 CASA ARGENTINA medium-size packs of tapas de empanadas (empanadas discs)⠀
